COMMUNITY GROUPS
Workshops to focus on strengthening organizations
Cleveland-We're lucky! When you have some free time, take a look at the Resource Directory in the back of this paper. Look at the variety of community groups listed in Northeast Ohio. "A group for any interest" is what I tell people when they call us looking for ways to get involved. We are lucky to have an active community in this area. We are all involved in these groups; we participate because we think it's good for the community or because we feel we can help in some way. Perhaps we even have special talents to lend to a community group or organization.
The presence of these community based groups is extremely important for our com-
munity. Their success helps our community maintain a presence, it shows the world how diverse we are, and there is no better means of support when you really need it.
Based on the appreciation for the work these groups do, the Center and the Cleveland Foundation will sponsor two workshops designed to

If you do not land one of these roles, do not despair. Additional singing and dancing roles will be cast from chorus members. You may get the chance to be a Munchkin, in the Lollipop Guild, a personal attendant, a guard, a crow, or a jitterbug dancer-the list goes on.
If you are of a mind, you can audition and sing the chorus role, that is, as a member of the North Coast Men's Chorus, that is, after you pay your dues for the

The chorus also can use some technical types to work as production volunteers, and other behind-the-scenes concert help.
It's going to be fun, folks, whether you are performing, helping with the technical aspects of the production, or are sitting in the audience. It'll be great from any angle.
